as for stiles, he finds love with the surly head of the nursing staff: derek. at first, stiles falls over himself trying to woo derek into a sexual relationship. and, though it takes time, he eventually wears derek down, and the two begin a relationship. what stiles thought would be another short-lived affair becomes love without him realizing it. the stress of commitment and the strength of his feelings for derek put the two under strain time and time again until, eventually, they learn how to communicate through their manpain.
and everyone gets their happily ever after—
